Shorty's Shed
3 x 1 hour Documentary Series
In Kalgoorlie everything is big, the trucks, the mines, the landscape itself seems to roll on forever.
Shortys Shed invites the viewer into this man's world, as we follow Shorty Ryan, a little guy with big ideas.
Like the time Shorty and his mates built the world’s first jet powered BBQ, or when they converted a fridge into a drag racer.Todays project involves many woodfired gourmet pizzas,a few kegs of beer and rebuilding a 1941 Willys pickup for entry in the coveted people’s choice award at the 2009 SummerNats Car Festival. At the teams disposal will be the machinery and know how built on fuelling the nations burgeoning mining industry.
Add to this mix the “can do” attitude of the Goldfields and look out Canberra, the Kalgoorlie gang are coming to town.

You Come This Way
13 x 30 min, cultural doco/travel series
A cultural travel program 50,000 years in the making, now gives the indigenous people of Australia the chance to showcase their country through their eyes.
We follow the patterns of the aboriginal year, through the six seasons of the aboriginal climatic cycle. From Birak , the time of hot winds and little food, to Makuru a time of intense cold. The weather was an indicator of the best times to hunt, to socialize, to perform and to survive. The series combines today’s indigenous tours with the early knowledge of the people.

Death in the Desert The romance of the Australian Outback has attracted travellers for years, but every year some still fall victim to this barren and rugged landscape. This three part series tells the stories of struggle for survival in an unforgiving land, creating an overall picture of the dangers associated with the Australian desert and how people have responded to it...for better or worse.

Immortalised This series takes us on a global journey to some of the most fascinating and notorious places immortalised in song. Spanning a wide range of musical genres and eras, every half-hour episode features three songs and reveals the fascinating stories behind their respective places – what they were like then, how that compares to now and most
importantly, why these places struck such a powerful chord for the songwriter and their audience.

Mrs President,Madame Prime Minister Political power has long been in the domain of men, but in Asia, women are increasingly taking the reins, in stark contrast to the limited women's rights and lack of gender equality in many of these countries. This series examines the cases of some of the most high profile, popular and long serving Asian female leaders, exploring this apparent phenomenon and the reasons behind it.

Nomadic Chef

Along the way we discover how thousand's of years of female preferences has spurred male guadiness, and we find out how being witty, entertaining and intelligent was as sexy to our ancestors as it is proving to be today!

Postcards WA
Postcards WA is a weekly half-hour television program that is all about Western Australia - its places, its people and its products. Now in its ninth season on Channel 9, Postcards WA promotes, publicises and highlights the many magnificent wonders of this truly remarkable state.

This Mandarin language travel program is a co-production between GZTV China and Circling Shark Productions.

Just Add Water
This series presents a unique and creative perspective on the recreational use of Perth's waterways. The program looks at popular pastimes such as fishing, diving and boating, and features practical advice for the family on how to get the most out of their leisure time. Just Add Water will return to Channel 9 in summer for its tenth season.
